You may call me 'Joe', but my original name was 'Joejoe' as given to me by my belated grandmother who resided in Sam Yaan, Bangkok, Thailand.
I am currently attending Mt. Sac. College on a part-time basis and enjoy classes in graphic design, game development, and web design. For fall 2015, I created two games in the ARTC100 entitled 'Space Hex Command' and 'Dead Brain.'
The first game is a 4-player board game that is fast-paced and an action-turn based. Each player collects resources, territory, and random-draw cards to comand a variety of military units. I was inspired to make this game based upon my love of retro and modern games/anime titles such as Risk, Yugi-Oh, Go-Lion, Transformers, and Starfox to name a few.
The second game entitled 'Dead Brain' is an educational card game that was based upon my tutoring experience at Kumon in Little Tokyo, California. The suggested age range is from 5-11 years of age. Although it was inspired by media such as the Dawn of the Dead, The Walking Dead, and 28 Days Later, it is an educational game for children to learn addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication while forming proper equations. The game mimics Poker, Black Jack, and Go-fish.
I hope you enjoy this site and I encourage you to browse my gallery to observe these creations of mine. Games are currently in production for mass distribution at local retail stores. A pre-sale distribution will be available in late 2016 on the Kickstarter app with special exclusives not available elsewhere.
